Yamaha Acoustic Guitar Pegs

restringing guitar. string question?

hey there,
i just bought a pack of steel strings. my guitar is a yamaha g 225. its very old and i think its a classical. the thing is..i thought it was an acoustic..and bought steel strings accidentally. i’m now wondering if i still can use it to restring my guitar?? i’ve watched and read stuff on the net on restringing and realise my guitar is different as it doesnt have the peg heads. help!!!!

hi never put steel strings on a classical guitar have a word with the shop if you haven’t open or used them you should be able to do a swop if not put it down to experience and buy the right strings for your guitar
