Selling Used Acoustic guitar, how much should I ask for?
Hi everyone,
I’m looking to sell my old guitar to a friend. It is a Takamine g220, I believe I got it brand new for about $250 Canadian. It has a few scratches/dings and as you reach the 10th and beyond, there is buzzing.
I was thinking maybe $90?…is that a fair price to let it go for?

The rule of thumb for used gear is that it sells for right around half of its original or current selling price, whichever is lower. However with buzzing problems you’re going to have to lower the price since the buyer is presumably going to have to pay for a professional setup. $90 seems about right, actually.
