How to put on electric guitar strings and tune them with snapping?

ok i can tune my acoustic guitar just perfectly fine but my electric is giving me headaches. i know how to insert the strings inside but i dont know how to lock it around the tuning pegs and how should i stretch the strings without them popping. also one of the string nute as i go done the fretboard whats wrong? my guitar is an ibanez gax70
