Ibanez Acoustic Guitar Maintenance

Should I stay away from buying a guitar with a solid cedar top?

I have heard that they require a lot of maintenance and can crack if not kept up just right.
specifically looking at the Ibanez AC35ECE ARTWOOD SERIES Acoustic-Electric Guitar.

While guitars with a solid spruce or cedar top do require more care, they do sound much better.
I’d rather play my old ’60′s Martin, or ’90′s Koa/Cedar Taylor, that both have a couple cracks, than any laminate top guitar out there.

Keep the guitar properly humidified, and you shouldn’t have any trouble for many years.
