Acoustic Guitar Help!! Please Help I’m a Begginer! Best answerr ten points!!?

Ok i just got a gibson acoustic guitar and have no clue how to play it i dont want to take lessons because i can teach myself what are the chords on a guitar like does anybody know where i can find a labeled diagram of the cords??? please help!!! thank you so much!

You obviously do need a teacher, whether that’s from taking lessons, or instructional DVD’s, books, online tutorials. If you could honestly teach yourself, then you would already know the chords and wouldn’t be asking us.

There are about 10 trillion different chords on a guitar…. ok, that’s not true, but there’s a lot, and WAY too many to list. Your best bet is to learn theory behind guitar chords. Checkout these two websites:

The first site is some basic theory and common chord progressions, the second site has a few basic chords for you to learn, in each key. From there, go to this site:

Just type in the chord you’re looking for and it pops up. It has a ton of informative stuff throughout the actual website, as well as many different scales for you to start working.
