Built-in Acoustic Guitar Tuner Help?
I just got my first acoustic today!!
Its a Fender, and its COMPLETELY out of tune, it has a built electric tuner, but whenever i turn it on the green light keep flashing.
I strum one of the strings and the green light comes on and then i move the peg all the way around and strum it again and it STILL says its in tune, whats going on here????
Electronic tuners are for “fine tuning” your guitar. You need to get it somewhere close to the correct pitch in order for the tuner to recognize the notes correctly. Use a pitch pipe, piano, tuning fork, or another guitar to get your strings close. Once it’s near to being in tune, you can use the tuner to get it exact .
