Is this a good guitar for beginners?

Hi, I'm learning to start on the guitar when I the most appropriate for me. Sure. Epiphone guitars are decent. But if I were you, would I go to Guitar Center and see the guitar in person, bring a friend who plays the guitar and hear what it sounds like, hold it and feel sure comfortable to have and to play before you buy it for you. I do not believe the purchase of musical instruments blindly to believe over the Internet. But that's me.
