Question about acoustic pickups?

HI im just wondering if there are any acoustic pickups that can be attached to the soundhole without worrying about further installation

i dont want to have my guitar cut in order to attach some pickups

There are lots of sound hole pickups by companies like Fishman, Dean Markley and Dimarzio. The problem is that they’re all magnetic pickups and make your guitar sound like an electric guitar. If that’s the sound you’re looking for, then fine. However if you would prefer a pickup that retains the acoustic sound of your guitar but makes it louder then you need to look at under-saddle piezo pickups or some other technology.

Piezo pickups are installed with no cutting at all. The saddle is removed and a tiny hole is drilled under the saddle to get the lead wires into the body of the guitar. The end pin is replaced by a jack with attached electronics and there’s a 9-volt battery and clip inside the body accessible through the sound hole. That’s what I have on one of my acoustics and it works fine.
