Acoustic Guitar Pick Up Microphone

Best ukulele choices for a band.?
I’m going to be taking up ukulele for a band I’m the lead singer for. I already play guitar very well so I don’t think I’ll have any problem picking it up, but here’s my question. I’ve been reading reviews on the internet about electric acoustic ukuleles and I’m wondering if it’s a better idea to buy an electric acoustic or to just let an acoustic pick up on my microphone. Any insight would be helpful, but I’d really love to hear with someone who has experience.
If you play guitar the Baritone Ukulele is tuned the same as
the first four strings (EBGD) of the guitar.
The other Ukulele that is often used with electric amplification
is the Tenor (2nd largest Ukulele).
Tenors can also be tuned EBGD or like the two smaller Ukes (Soprano and Concert) Tuned GCEA.
There are Tenors made with more than the standard 4 strings.
I don’t know of any Baritone Uke sold with more than 4
strings.I use a a half-size short-scale ( 522mm string length)
guitar with the four Baritone Uke strings plus the 5th and 6th
guitar strings “A” and low “E” to add lower harmony to the sound.
As far as electronic acoustics I play classical guitar and play
in front of a mike not attached to the instrument.
I sit to play but If you going to move about in a stage then
perhaps you may test an electric acoustic Uke.
