I would like to begin recording studio .. What do I need?
I have an old keyboard, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, an amplifier (the bit shabby). I am willing to spend money, want to study, because most have a good start. I know the basics of music theory, and I in this expansion. I also know how to do basic things boldly. But I would like to use other software to something better. So it is a software that you recommend that for you use my studio to make songs? (BTW I have Windows XP.) Are there supplies they need to do a recording studio for my home? What you need?
I would start with an audio interface and some microphones. includes audio interface for recording and mixing software. I like the line mbox because it comes with ProTools. You pay a few hundred more for it, but it is the industry standard for recording. can spend much less and a little work equally well. Sites to visit and as sweetwater.com guitarcenter.com musiciansfriend.com for audio interfaces and / or DAW (Digital Audio Workstations). This should give you an idea of what is out there and prices. if the MIDI keyboard, A MIDI interface.
