how to curl up the left over acoustic guitar string on the headstock?
i have been looking on the search engines for ways for months now, and now that i havent found anything, im getting really frustrated, because i know it is a popular thing to do among acoustic players
i have tried to find the pictures so i can post it or something but i have nothing.
i have been thinking now that i have searched the wrong words. i have now been thinking that “curl” isnt the word they use to describe the curling of the left over strings on the headstock.
and yes i have tried it by myself before, i have tried using a pen, a marker, etc, and it all turned out pretty horrible. i wish i could find a satisfying solution in this ask.
I know a lot of acoustic players and I’ve never seen any of them do that. The best thing to do is just cut that excess string off with a pair of wire cutters. That extra string is just worthless anyway and could damage the case or even someones eye or something. If this is some kind of new fad or something then please excuse my ignorance. I’m just an old school guy , ya know. lol
