Acoustic Guitar Hardshell Case
What does it mean by chipboard guitar case?
Because i am looking to go buy a good hardshell guitar case (acoustic) and i wasn’t exactly sure where to find a good guitar CASE that is under 60$. Anyone know where i could find a good hardshell guitar case under 60$?
chipboard is an older term for fiberboard, which is a layered type of cardboard. It is not considered to be a true hardshell type of case but does offer a bit more protection than a basic gig bag. There are padded gig bags on the market that offer a good amount of protection that are within your price range. You can occasionally find sales on true hardshell cases from sources like musicians friend or American musical supply and other mail order retailers that start at about $70 but you have to call and ask because they are not usually advertised. Check with your local music stores, they might have a great deal on a hardshell case that they no longer have a guitar for.
