What’s wrong with my acoustic guitar?

3 months ago i noticed the strings were a little high but then i was just like no big deal. But now these things are like in space with the fretboard being the ground. I cant even play it anymore or use the capo because they are so high off the fret board. How can i fix this or do i take it to sam ash (where i go for everything) and how much will it cost me? Plz help! I miss playing my acoustic. I miss the natural sound of it not always hereing distortion or clean electric strings.
I’ve also noticed the bass side of my bridge is coming off.

The string tension must have been too high. Either the tuning is too high (tuning higher than standard guitar pitch) or the string weight is too large (too heavy gauge strings). The wrong strings (e.g. steel strings on a guitar designed for nylon strings) could also do that because they would put too much tension on the bridge.

If the neck has a truss rod it may be possible to correct any bow in it that the pull of the strings has made. The bridge will have to be professionally repaired.

You will have to take it to the guy you normally use and ask him for a quote as to how much it would cost to fix.
