Acoustic Guitar Effects Processor
can I use a guitar processor with an acoustic guitar with pickup?
I have a givson acoustic guitar with a pickup. I want to get special effects like distortion, chorus, flanger, humaniser, etc.. but I cannot afford to buy an electric guitar.. So can I use a processor with a normal guitar? Please answer.. this is urgent
Short answer, Yes
Long answer, Make sure that you run through a preamp first. Remember that most effects work on the electrical wave form from the input. I have found that most accustic pickups return a very “thin” wave, thus making the effects not sound “full”
